Modern Cam Locks
These emulate the traditional locks applied to sash windows, but provide far greater security. They can be locked with a key, but provide reasonable security when the key is not used. Our sash windows do not provide for a knife or similar flat implement to be slid between the two sashes to release the lock as is possible with cheaper or older windows.
Sash Lifts and Pole Ring
Matching your choice of hardware material, these enhance the authentic feel of the windows. The optional pole ring assists with opening and closing a high window.
Restrictors
An attractive feature on the Henry James PVCu sash window, this useful piece of hardware will provide security against intruders when the windows are open, and allowing a gap of 100mm, prevent small children from falling.
An adult can easily override the restrictor from the inside to enable windows to be fully opened.
Henry James restrictors are made to match our customer's choice of hardware.
Tilt Release Knob
Designed to complement your hardware choice, our reinforced release knob is made from identical material. It is very easy to use and allows the sashes to be tilted for cleaning and maintenance. It also provides a simple mechanism for activating the fire exit door where applicable.
