Elegance
In terms of authenticity, this window is top of our PVCu range. It is specifically designed to replace the traditional box sash windows so has a deep outer frame of 146mm (front to back).
Feature Rich
Only available in white, this window will complement any property where the most important consideration is to replace a traditional, usually original timber, sash window with a product that can offer all the modern features, such as easy maintenance, but which is indiscernibly different in appearance.
As with all our sash windows, there are a wealth of features available to enhance the period look. In addition, the fire escape and tilt options are highly useful for attic or very high rooms, and in older properties which were built before fire hazards were made a consideration and which have no easy means of escape.
Stronger and More Heat Efficient
The Elegance is the only one of our PVCu range to be constructed using five chambers instead of three and it has thicker PVCu walls than the rest of the range. These features give this model even greater strength and further enhanced heat efficiency. All our PVCu windows are reinforced, but there may be situations where additional strength is required in the profile, such as where the window is especially large or subject to very fierce weather conditions.
Cill
This design has the widest of flush integral cills to repel weather more effectively and to give a more period look.
